Have you ever wanted to start your very own ecourse or mini-course? If you are still unsure about what it is exactly and how it can help you increase sales in your business (what ever it may be - digital or physical products or even services), then I have something for you that can help you make a decision. I was invited to be a guest on Internet Marketing Strategy Diva by Elizabeth Ashe. She asked me some basic questions about Mini Courses and how some one can put them together. Below are “Different Ways to Market Your eCourse

Launching an ecourse is relatively easy, but with all aspects of your business, it’s your marketing efforts that determine whether you succeed in a big way with it, or not. The following are some suggestions to help you get more traffic to your ecourse sign up page.

Before you decide on a method, there are some basic tools you will need. Giving your ecourse its own domain and having a single landing page can help increase your conversion rates.

If a visitor to your site is distracted by links to other information, s/he may navigate away and not come back to your ecourse opt in page. However, if your visitor only sees your opt in, it will be easier to convert them into a subscriber. Keep your sign up page neat, clean, and easy to read. Do not use distracting colors or hard to read fonts. You still need to “sell” the opt in a bit. If you are not the best copywriter, hire one to do the writing for you.

You can market your ecourse online with pay per click programs, such as Google Adwords as well as buying ad space on another website or ezine. Remember to keep your target market in mind. What keywords are they most likely to use when searching for your information? If they were surfing the web, which sites would they most likely visit and which ezines do they most likely subscribe to?

Article marketing is also a smart way to drive traffic to your ecourse. Take one of the articles you’ll be using for your ecourse, and submit it to article directories. Other website owners will publish it on their sites, including your author bio with a link to your ecourse sign up page.

You can even market your product offline. You can create flyers or business cards. Hang them up on bulletin boards and businesses around your area. While you might think this is a small potatoes approach, but big time internet marketing gurus like Jimmy D. Brown and Joe Vitale use flyers to market thier businesses!

You may want to create a direct mail campaign and send postcards describing your ecourse to people in your target market. There are several companies that sell mailing lists. You can enter in the demographics of people you want to market to, and the company will provide you with a list of addresses.

You can even start your own “pay per lead” affiliate program and pay others to promote your ecourse for you. Calculate how much you can afford to spend for each confirmed subscriber. Affiliates will often be happy to be paid .25 or so to send you a new ecourse subscriber.

There are many more ways you can promote your ecourse in order to increase subscribers quickly. These are outlined in more detail at http://www.MiniCourseMoney.com.
